Jim Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett National Park in Nainital district of Uttarakhand is counted among the oldest national parks in India. It was set up to protect the endangered Bengal tiger. This ecotourism destination is home to over 488 species of flora and a diverse variety of fauna. This was the first park that came under the Project Tiger initiative. Apart from tigers, some of the most common animals spotted here are barking deer, sambar deer, hog deer and chital, sloth. The park also has 586 species of resident and migratory birds which make this place a heaven for bird watchers.

Corbett Falls

By Road:

Jim Corbett is linked to NH34. Private taxis as well as state-own buses are available to reach here.
